Signs Your Building Needs Service
Don't wait for a catastrophic failure. If your building is experiencing any of these issues, it's time for a professional assessment.
Low Water Pressure on Upper Floors
Residents on higher floors experiencing weak showers or slow-filling fixtures indicates failing booster pumps or restricted risers.
Rusty or Discolored Water
Brown, orange, or rust-colored water coming from taps is a clear sign of corroding pipes that need immediate attention.
Recurring Drain Backups Across Units
When multiple units experience simultaneous backups, the common drain stack likely has a blockage or structural issue.
Water Hammer / Banging Pipes
Loud banging or hammering sounds in walls when water is turned on or off signals pressure issues or loose pipe supports.
Leaks Between Floors
Water stains on ceilings, dripping between floors, or mold growth in common areas point to failing pipe joints or cracked risers.
Booster Pump Failures
Frequent booster pump breakdowns or cycling issues mean the system is undersized, aging, or in need of professional servicing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from condo boards and property managers about high-rise plumbing projects.
A full riser replacement typically takes 6 to 18 months depending on the building size, number of risers, and complexity of the project. A 20-story building with 4 risers might take 10–12 months. We work floor-by-floor to minimize disruption, and each individual unit typically requires only 2–3 days of access during the process.
No, tenants do not need to vacate. Our phased approach means each unit is only affected for 2–3 days. During that time, residents can typically remain in their units — they just won't have water access for portions of the workday. We provide advance notice and coordinate temporary water solutions when needed.
We carry comprehensive general liability insurance, errors and omissions (E&O) insurance, and can provide additional insured certificates naming your condo corporation or property management company. Our coverage meets or exceeds the requirements of all major property management firms in Ontario.
It depends on the condition of your existing pipes. Relining (epoxy lining) is faster and less invasive, ideal for pipes with minor corrosion and no structural damage. Full replacement is recommended when pipes are severely corroded, cracked, or undersized. During our assessment, we'll recommend the best approach for your building's specific situation and budget.
